× I miss somebody right now. I don't watch much TV these days.  (Who has time for TV! Besides, there is never anything good on.) × I own lots of books(I love to read, but I dont own very many books. I hope to rectify this eventually.)
I wear glasses or contact lenses.  (I wear glasses. I like contacts too, but I need to get some new ones.) I love to play video games.  (Though I seem to never have enough time to finish them. Out of the forty-something PS2 games I own, I've completed only a handful.) I've tried marijuana.  (Tried, yes.. but didnt much care for it. Tried once way back in high school and again before Christmas this year at the work Christmas party. I doubt I ever will do it again.)
I've watched porn movies.  (Yeah.. well.. who hasn't!?) × I have been the psycho-ex in a past relationship. I believe honesty is usually the best policy.  (I always try to be pretty honest. Though sometimes I try to spare someone's feelings with little white lies.)
I curse sometimes.  (Just at work, really. Sometimes while playing WoW :P) × I have changed a lot mentally over the last year. × I carry my knife/razor everywhere with me.
it goes on... )

If this messes up your friends list, let me know. I would have put it all behind a cut, but the copied code already had one in it.

Also, if you have any questions about the stuff on this thing, ask away! :D

The one song that breaks us all

Do you have a certain song that stirs something up from deep inside? That makes you cry? I myself consider myself ruled by music - It dictates my emotions. Most of the music I like is sort of depressing, so I tend to be depressed a lot of the time. Are you the same way? Just curious.

*gasp*

NAIROBI (AFP) - A baby-hippopotamus that survived the tsumani waves on the Kenyan coast has formed a strong bond with a giant male century-old tortoise, in an animal facility in the port city of Mombasa, officials said.

The hippopotamus, nicknamed Owen and weighing about 300 kilograms (650 pounds), was swept down Sabaki River into the Indian Ocean, then forced back to shore when tsumani waves struck the Kenyan coast on December 26, before wildlife rangers rescued him.

"It is incredible. A-less-than-a-year-old hippo has adopted a male tortoise, about a century old, and the tortoise seems to be very happy with being a 'mother'," ecologist Paula Kahumbu, who is in charge of Lafarge Park, told AFP.

"After it was swept and lost its mother, the hippo was traumatised. It had to look for something to be a surrogate mother. Fortunately, it landed on the tortoise and established a strong bond. They swim, eat and sleep together," the ecologist added.

Song Lyrics )

Chris ([info]hylien007) told me about this song quite a while ago. I've always meant to get it... but never got around to it. Now that I have downloaded it, I regret not getting it sooner. Its a really beautiful song. I'll have to buy the second Wolf's Rain soundtrack sometime.

EDIT: yousendit link here.

Okay, so... I just fainted.

I stood up to stretch and then lost all muscle control. I just kinda fell over sideways (toward my bed, luckily) as my eyes rolled up in my head. I was only out for a split second, though...

I wonder if this is connected to the fact that I've been chronically tired lately. Lately, I've been napping more and more in the evening. I just feel so sleepy and feel like I cant remain conscious any longer. Sometimes have to "nap" from 6:30pm or so 'til 1:00am. When I wake up from these naps, I dont really feel rested at all.

I dont sleep for real properly, either. When I wake up, I'm always unbearably tired. The dark rings under my eyes are fairly horrible-looking each morning.

I seriously dont know what to think.

Blah, its probably nothing.

Ugh

So I just got yelled at by my dad again.

This time, it was because I didnt vaccum on sunday like I'm supposed to do every week. The thing is, I was sick in bed Sunday. I woke up about a half hour before supper. And, as if he'd already thought up ways to counter this "excuse", he told me that I didnt bother doing it on monday or tuesday either. Thats true, I didnt... because on both monday and tuesday, I was out looking for jobs all day. I promised to both him and my mom that I would go out job hunting as much as I could... yet I missed one day of vacuuming and suddenly I'm the devil.

Lets sum up what I do around the house:
-vacuuming/sweeping/cleaning
-the family's laundry
-babysitting both my brothers when my parents are out of the house
-ALL heavy lifting around the house
-shovelling the driveway/sidewalks when it snows
-dishes
-fetch random things whenever asked
-mowing the lawn

I do all that.. yet when I miss ONE day of vacuuming because I'm sick and in bed.. I get sodomized by a hot metal rod (well, not really, but I figure that shows you how much I enjoy being chewed out).

At this point, my dad wants me to wake up early tomorrow and do the vacuuming before noon. Basically, this means that I'm not going to sleep at all. Since I go to bed anywhere between 6am-8am, it'd be stupid to go to sleep for an hour or two and then wake up to vacuum. I might as well just stay up and not sleep at all.

In other news, Half Life 2 is great.
